Clinton slams Trump's budget: 'An unimaginable level of cruelty'

Hillary Clinton bashed President Trump’s newly-unveiled federal budget plan on Tuesday, saying the plan reached “an unimaginable level of cruelty.”

Clinton gave the keynote address at the Children’s Health Fund Annual Benefit on Tuesday night just hours after the Trump administration revealed the details of its first major budget proposal. The former Democratic presidential nominee sharply criticized the plan.

"This administration is mounting an onslaught against the needs of children, people with disabilities, women and seniors,” Clinton said.

"Poverty is neither a crime, nor a character flaw. Stigmatize those who let people die, not those who struggle to live," Clinton continued, quoting from an essay in author Sarah Kendzior's book "The View From Flyover Country."

Trump’s budget proposal seeks $1.4 trillion in cuts to Medicaid over the course of a decade and $1.5 trillion in non defense discretionary cuts. It also seeks to cut $274 billion from anti-poverty programs, including $193 billion in cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the modern version of food stamps. It also slashes the budget for Disability Insurance offered through Social Security. Trump pledged throughout the 2016 campaign to not cut Social Security programs.

Clinton has emerged as a fierce critic of Trump after keeping a relatively-low profile following her election loss. In late March, the former Secretary of State blasted Trump’s initial budget proposal, specifically for its cuts to the State Department.

“This administration’s proposed cuts to international health, development, and diplomacy would be a blow to women and children and a grave mistake to our country,” Clinton said at the time.

In April, she took a swipe at the administration saying she was “pretty worried” as an American. And earlier this month, Clinton announced the formation of a new political action organization, Onward Together, which will fundraise for five prominent progressive groups.

Trump to clinton: We need to help people. Therefore we will need the $150 million you got from the Russians betraying the United States selling our uranium. Also we will need the rest of the money in your foundation as none of it was spent on any charitable giving.

While I’m extremely grateful
Donald Trump is now our
commander in chief, and
agreeing with the wicked
one on anything just makes
me cringe...
I’m a little concerned about
proposed cuts to SSDI.
Disabled at 17, I didn’t
give up my life’s aspirations.
2 years in rehab learning to
walk again, 4 years completing
a college degree, and 43 years
working I’ve reluctantly had
to give up my vocation.
I, after one year and 5
months, have been approved
for SSDI benefits. These are
not entitlements. I earned
every cent. Cuts in these
benefits would be devastating
to maintaining everything I’ve
worked so long and hard for.
While I understand there
are those who abuse the
system, there is a greater
percentage of those like me.
To young to retire, and to
much physical pain to keep
working.

Regarding the federal budget, Hillary refuses to recognize that most (all?) federal social spending programs are unconstitutional, such programs based on state powers and uniquely associated state revenues that the corrupt, post 17th Amendment-ratification feds have stolen from the states.

Note that the feds steal state revenues by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that career lawmakers cannot justify under Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

What’s going on imo is that corrupt career politicians establish unconstitutional federal spending programs to essentially buy votes from low-information citizens, citizens who are clueless that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific powers to establish such programs.

Patriots need to support Trump in working with the states to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes. Once that happens then the states will probably find a tsunami of new revenues that they won’t know what to do with. They could establish their own healthcare programs, improve schools, increase funding for fire and police departments, and fix infrastructure for starters.

Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!

Remember in November ’18 !

Since Trump entered the ’16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the ’18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.

Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist Supreme Court justices off of the bench.

In fact, if Justice Gorsuch turns out to be a liberal Trojan Horse then we will need 67 patriot senators to remove a House-impeached Gorsuch from office.

Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February ‘18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.

While I Googled the primary information above concerning Iowa and New Hampshire, FReeper iowamark brought to my attention that the February primaries for these states apply only to presidential election years. And after doing some more scratching, since primary dates for most states for 2018 elections probably haven’t been uploaded at this time (March 14, 2017), FReepers will need to find out primary dates from sources and / or websites in their own states.

Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.

Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

Clinton slams Trump's budget: 'An unimaginable level of cruelty'

Yeah - borrowing and spending a trillion more in 10 years on social welfare instead of spending 2 trillion more is unimaginably cruel. How can those US debt-holders and basic arithmetic be so cruel.
