The above is one of the better examples of the media TRYING to sever the bond of Trump supporters to President Trump, as Rush finally figured out last week. Not going to happen.
It reminds me of a comment that I often make about paying for the Wall (on left-wing sites), when I say that we, Trump supporters, don’t really care who pays for it, only that it gets built. It DRIVES THEM NUTS...and they come back with “aren’t you mad that Trump lied to you?” (nope), “see, we told you that Trump is a liar!” (don’t care)...
I then point out that people who hate Trump and don’t want the wall seem a lot more interested in how it’s paid for than Trump supporters - which is an astute observation, I may add.

Burton was once, briefly, a congressman from California, but quit, saying it wasn’t fun anymore. His reported addictions to booze and drugs helped to explain both his idea of fun and his apparent failure as a House rep. When older brother Phil died, it may be that the little brother felt his power disappear. In any event, given the reports of all the booze and drugs, this latest stunt seems to be the best he’s capable of.
