GIMME SHELTER. Having only 3 chords: Richard's lead, then Wyman's subtle bass run in the second measure, and then the eerily haunting vocal, and Watt's pulls it together with a simplistic banging of drums into the body of the song.
No wonder it has been used in so many movie and TV shows. It's one of the 5 songs I would take to a desert island and I never tire of it. Don't forget the dueling guitars in the bridge between Richards and Mick Taylor. It is genius and can still be found on Juke Boxes around the world.

Good one and similar to the simplicity of Gimme Shelter.

Great one! I’m seeing a trend of folks who prefer simplistic intros that set up the song.

Stranglehold would be second favorite intro after Gimme Shelter.

Right, great intro, but the song was just okay although with a good groove and tempo.

"eat lunch, play fetch with the dog, play nine holes of golf, take a shower"
LOL. And that's why that song was so boring until the drum solo.
