The Saudis treated President Trump like royalty, with red carpets, lavish meals and American flags flying everywhere. They repeatedly used the word “Historic” to describe his visit.
The greeting was in stark contrast to Obama. Obama was seen as a Globalist-endorsing effeminate shill of the Shia Muslim-Brotherhood.

I think they believe themselves to be neither sunni or shia. Muslim Brotherhood is caliphate-organized.
Pretty sure they would like to see the SA kingdom overthrown and have worked in that direction.

Muslim Brotherhood (Sunni) is Egyptian in origin but financed and exported with Saudi money. Most of Saudi Arabia is Sunni with some Shia areas near Iran.
Hamas is also Sunni while Hezbollah is Shia. Iran is Shia which is why they fight against the Sunni ISIS, which descended from the Muslim Brotherhood.
