Where do you get this crap? Look, I’m mad at McCain, too - altho I voted for him for POTUS and gave him money. I’m tried of his pandering to the liberal press.
But, he’ not a hero because he was shot down. He’s a hero because he volunteered for service, and conducted himself as an officer once captured. I have read accounts from others of his treatment, and it was not a fun experience. Give him credit where credit is due.
