Trump On Press Briefings: I’ll ‘Do It Myself’ [FOX NEWS VIDEO copied onto Daily Caller]

In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro, President Donald Trump said he could do the White House press briefings on his own every two weeks.

Trump tweeted early Friday that it’s natural for his press team to be inaccurate sometimes because he is such an “active president.”

In a preview of an interview to be aired Saturday night, Judge Jeanine Pirro asked Trump, “Are you moving so quickly that your communications department cannot keep up with you?”

“Yes,” Trump responded. “That’s true.”

“So what do we do about that?” Pirro asked.

In another tweet, Trump had said the solution was to hand out “written responses” to the press. However, he had a different solution in mind during his Pirro interview.

“Just don’t have [press briefings]. Unless I have ’em every two weeks and do them myself,” Trump suggested.

WATCH:

“I think it’s a good idea. First of all, you have a level of hostility that’s incredible, and it’s very unfair.”

Trump went on to praise the work of Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Press Secretary Sean Spicer, but seemed lukewarm on whether or not Spicer would be keeping his job.

“Will he be there tomorrow?” Pirro asked.

“Well, he’s been there from the beginning,” Trump said, somewhat dodging the question.

The full interview will air on Fox News Saturday night at 9 PM EST.

Trump I am all for you, have been now for over two entire years.

But you really, really, really need to focus on bringing back jobs to America.

Now.

You’re gonna have to keep up. The data show unemployment the lowest in many years.

Welcome to FR. You should get out more.
Pres. Trump has already increased jobs in America
after the lowlife and corrupt fraud, Obama,
almost destroyed the country while setting the rest
of the world on fire for Islamic terrorists.

I completely disagree.

Completely.

Our economy is big-time sold out. And there are millions of American who are no longer even included in the counts.

Both parties. Our unemployment rate is way, way, way above what is listed.

It is a complete disgrace.

I do not agree, that Trump has brought back American jobs yet.

Nope.

And I have been a FReeper since 2005.

I think he said a lot, when he was running, which I completely agreed with. And a lot of other voters.

He has NOT done anything yet, and I am starting to wonder why not.

Let him tear the press a new one. I’m only concerned if he starts flying missions over Syria.

I hope he kicks them right in their rotting teeth, each time.

And daily..? He tweets up a storm, that’s high-tech and they can’t beat up on him maliciously, that way.

CANCEL the daily briefings..!

Nope, but I am very disappointed, that Trump has yet not said he would do a thing, to bring back US jobs.

I have very high hopes for Trump.

Perhaps I had too high, of an expectation, but this was one of the most important issues in my view, and I have not seen him do one thing yet, to re-industrialize what was just one generation ago, the finest manufacturing base in world history.

Trump you said some strong things about US trade.

I (and a lot of others) have yet, to see any action, and consider this a critical issue.

One of the very most important.

Anywhere.

“CANCEL the daily briefings..!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silly idea to begin with. They should only be for special occasions/important announcements.
He has NOT done anything yet [about jobs], and I am starting to wonder why not.
That is patently false.
Is there a law requiring the president to have a press office or secretary? If not, Trump should tell the press to lump it and he’ll consider answering their submitted questions as he gets the time and inclination. Meanwhile, he’ll keep the public informed through announcements on his website, press releases, twitter or press conferences that he may call from time-to-time.
He’s got himself spread pretty thin. I think his moves are working, jobs will take time to show. Personally he should end Obama’s amnesty, do more to end all visa job programs. Big steps, not talk. Problem is media, compounded by less than prepared or supportive team and too many RINOs. Surrounding himself with people that did not support him, playing nice with Ryan, are doing him in. He needs to work on building a truly loyal team.
How is it false?
I have not seen a thing.
What has he done yet, about bringing jobs back to America?
I am all for Trump, but he has not yet.
Not that I have seen anyway.
