Convince the Senate to expell this fraud.

Neither Congressman nor Senators may be impeached.
They may be removed from office by a 2/3 majority of the House or Senate.

"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
The impeachment provision does not apply to members of Congress. They are not "civil Officers" in the meaning of the Constitution. The impeachment process has been used primarily against judges, and twice against Presidents (Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton). The possible sanctions against members of Congress (short of getting them booted in an election) are either "censure" or "expulsion" under Article V.
Either censure or expulsion requires a 2/3 vote of the relevant body (i.e., the Senate has to vote by 2/3 to censure or expel its own member). There is exactly zero chance that Blumenthal will ever be censured or expelled, unless the Republicans suddenly get to a 2/3 margin in the Senate (even then the RINOs would probably protect the POS). No, the only way to get Blumenthal out is to defeat him in his re-election campaign, which will not be until 2022. The chances of defeating Blumenthal in liberal CT are pretty slim. If we are lucky he will retire.

Thanks. Messed up. Gotta fix

Few people come lower than Dick Blumenthal. They convicted an Oregon GOP Congressman for exaggerating military service on campaign literature. This puke should’ve done a LONG stint in prison for stolen valor.

You do not impeach someone because they are of opposing politics and do whatever other president has done within his powers but you do not like it.

Blumenthal is a disgrace, but no more so than those who elected him to the senate. He should be confronted for his lies every time he shows his disgusting face in public.

That’s just sad. I’m guessing that young man has some mental issues or is autistic.

He found a bunch of real vets who stood on stage with him and accepted his apology. I wonder what’s wrong with a vet who supports those who steal their valor.

This will make Blumethal angry
Former FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday sent a letter to agents and friends following President Trump firing him the previous day.
I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all, he wrote, according to CNN. “Im not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed.”
He continued: I hope you wont either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply.

Comey added that the FBI should continue the mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution.
He described the FBI ideal as a “rock” for the American people.
It is very hard to leave a group of people who are committed only to doing the right thing. What makes leaving the FBI hard is the nature and quality of its people, who together make it that rock for America,” he said.

I’m not accusing anyone of anything but when I look and listen to Blumenthal speak; my senses are saying “child molester”. Just sayin’ and he is a leftist after all so anything like that is very possible.

Prosecute Blumenthal for violating the Stolen Valor Act of 2013 should be considered if he doesn’t recant his lies of serving in Vietnam which he used to be elected to the House.

Hartford is now securing the attorneys to file bankruptcy. The whole state is about to crater as well. When that does happen, those in positions of power will reap what they have sown.

I believe we now have more people claiming to be Vietnam Vets than we had troops in Vietnam. I suspect we’ll see the same thing happen with Iraq and Afghanistan.
