Convince the Senate to expell this fraud.

Neither Congressman nor Senators may be impeached.
They may be removed from office by a 2/3 majority of the House or Senate.
To: pboyington
"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."
The impeachment provision does not apply to members of Congress. They are not "civil Officers" in the meaning of the Constitution. The impeachment process has been used primarily against judges, and twice against Presidents (Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton). The possible sanctions against members of Congress (short of getting them booted in an election) are either "censure" or "expulsion" under Article V.
Either censure or expulsion requires a 2/3 vote of the relevant body (i.e., the Senate has to vote by 2/3 to censure or expel its own member). There is exactly zero chance that Blumenthal will ever be censured or expelled, unless the Republicans suddenly get to a 2/3 margin in the Senate (even then the RINOs would probably protect the POS). No, the only way to get Blumenthal out is to defeat him in his re-election campaign, which will not be until 2022. The chances of defeating Blumenthal in liberal CT are pretty slim. If we are lucky he will retire.

Few people come lower than Dick Blumenthal. They convicted an Oregon GOP Congressman for exaggerating military service on campaign literature. This puke should’ve done a LONG stint in prison for stolen valor.

You do not impeach someone because they are of opposing politics and do whatever other president has done within his powers but you do not like it.

Blumenthal is a disgrace, but no more so than those who elected him to the senate. He should be confronted for his lies every time he shows his disgusting face in public.

He found a bunch of real vets who stood on stage with him and accepted his apology. I wonder what’s wrong with a vet who supports those who steal their valor.

This will make Blumethal angry
Former FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday sent a letter to agents and friends following President Trump firing him the previous day.
I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all, he wrote, according to CNN. “Im not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed.”
He continued: I hope you wont either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply.

Comey added that the FBI should continue the mission of protecting the American people and upholding the Constitution.
He described the FBI ideal as a “rock” for the American people.
It is very hard to leave a group of people who are committed only to doing the right thing. What makes leaving the FBI hard is the nature and quality of its people, who together make it that rock for America,” he said.

I’m not accusing anyone of anything but when I look and listen to Blumenthal speak; my senses are saying “child molester”. Just sayin’ and he is a leftist after all so anything like that is very possible.

Prosecute Blumenthal for violating the Stolen Valor Act of 2013 should be considered if he doesn’t recant his lies of serving in Vietnam which he used to be elected to the House.

Blumenthal defeated Linda McMahon, 55 to 43 percent. Unfortunately, the 58,000 young men and women who died in Vietnam never had a chance to vote against him.
What does this tell you about Connecticut voters that they would elect someone who lied about Vietnam service. And did they re-elect him? Conn. must be a liberal hell hole.

Blumenthal should be relentlessly protested, shouted down and shamed at every public appearance.
Anyone and everyone appearing before him ought to show him no respect.
The arrogant a-hole has no integrity, no conscience, and no shame or he wouldn't appear in public, let alone serve in the US Senate, so we should actually make an effort to hound him via Twitter and letters to editors of CT newspapers.

In the New England states, is there any lie or crime too egregious that will get you elected out of office?
Leave a woman to down in a car? Have an escort service run out of your home? Lie about your ethnic origin to get a plum position at an Ivy League school? Lie about your military service?
I guess not.

If this were a Republican thief of valor attacking a Democrat president, the Republican would be torn apart in a day.
But since this guy is a Leftist, lying traitorous bastard his is allowed to lead what he thinks will be a lynching.
Where are our battlers in the Congress? Oh yes...they are aligned with the Leftists.
To: pboyington
For 30 years, Senator Blumenthal had been living a lie; a virtual Homeric tale with him as the hero serving with the Marine Corps in Vietnam until he was outed by the New York Times in 2010,
-----
Blumenthal should be impeached for committing high crimes and misdemeanors which includes: violating the Stolen Valor Act of 2013,
I can't be the only one that sees the problem here.
