I can usually hold it down to 3 or 4 per day. Pots that is.

About four cups per day. If I drink more than that, my insomnia acts up.

Cold brew is great.
The important thing for me is freshly roasted and ground high quality arabica bean. In Laurie, Missouri, by the Lake of the Ozarks, is Omega Coffee Company. It’s a small local coffee shop that custom roasts their own bulk beans.
Dark, medium, or light.
Costa Rica, Columbia, Brazil, Kenya AA, Sumatra etc. etc. Want a blend, call there and tell Kenny what you want and he will custom make it and ship it to you. Then grind it at home the morning you make it.

I go the other direction....two small scoops a pot..but then I'm drinking it all day long! Nobody else can stand my coffee but it's too darn strong for me otherwise........In fact after two cups in a restaurant I get the shakes! At least I know I'm getting the "protection" this article references!

... my insomnia acts up.
I stop drinking coffee at 7PM to avoid that problem.

This is bullshit. 3 cups of Italian style espresso! Far too much. Prevents sleep, dehydrates. Who publishes thus garbage?
And no, it doesn’t prevent prostate cancer. This article is dangerous.

A scientist on C2C last week said there was only two true stimulants of the brain that he knew of (or has studied).
Caffeine was one.
Nicotine was the other.
Full disclosure: I drink four or five cups a day.

I only drink coffee til I get heartburn ... usually about 1/2 cup away from finishing the pot ... then I check the Ice on my Beer ... (it takes 7 minutes to cool with Ice) so it takes planning and diligence to thwart dehydration.
(I’m like a savant, I keep extra ice stashed)

Thanks for the correction.
I’m not ready, nor will I ever be to go gender neutral or anything of the sort heh.
