How stupid are these people? Why would legal immigrants who did the paperwork and waited their turn be in favor of those who cut in line?

Like most of us of Hispanic ancestry, I’m Caucasian/white-my ancestors came to what is now W Texas and New Mexico well over 200 years ago-also like most of us, I use the rougher pejorative term “mojado” to refer to illegals-in a rural area like this one, illegals are NOT welcome-we have la migra’s number on speed dial-jobs on ranches and in small businesses are for our legal residents only...
SOME of those legal girls had to put up with or ARE putting up with a weird man/marriage trip because being a citizen is worth ANY sacrifice.
Just say NO to sanctuary ANYTHING.
This ties in with my favorite way to argue against illegal invasion:
Millions wake up worldwide every day with the thought, “If only I could get to America.” And as Americans, we say they should all be treated equally in that quest.
But people who take advantage of an open border are cutting in line, stealing benefits, jobs and housing from those who can’t just walk across as they have an ocean in the way.
On what basis do we encourage this unequal treatment? Are people in our southern hemisphere superior to those from other places?
This also raises the question of why we want to emulate all those countries whose current citizens want to escape so they can come here. I’ve even had comfortable people from Switzerland (while vacationing in Italy) tell me they are sending their children to the USA as soon as they finish school due to better lifetime opportunities in our “classless” society. To them we are classless compared to Switzerland where if you aren’t from the right family, your opportunities are very limited.
I know a lady who immigrated here from Kenya. She probably loves Obama though she hasn’t ever mentioned it. But, if someone starts griping about the USA, she gets right on them. “You have no idea what you are talking about. I’ve lived all over the world, and nothing compares to the goodness and greatness of this country”, she’ll say.
What other country has citizens that grow up in very poor circumstances and yet become millionaires? What other country could they go to and become wealthy? In what European country can one start out sweeping the floor in the equivalent of a Walmart and end up the CEO?
Impossible, don’t ya know that any slight on any immigrant, even if undocumented (illegal), is an insult to them all?
Just using the term ‘illegal’ slights all immigrants
