...did the perp simply bleed out, or was he shot again before he was finally killed?

Good people don't shoot a man that's down and defenseless - even when he's a criminal. You're confusing the hero with a lowlife type criminal mentality. Kinda insulting...

Good people don't shoot a man that's down and defenseless - even when he's a criminal.

According to the article: "After he was struck once, the suspect started shooting at the front door," Cook told the Arlington Voice. "We know people were trying to escape, but we're not sure if he was just trying to harm others."

That sure doesn't sound like he was down and defenseless. But it begs the question, do you stop shooting when the perp goes down even though he's still firing?

My comment was directed at this bit of reporting: “After he was struck once, the suspect started shooting at the front door,”

And, as there is a gap in the narrative, I simply asked: what happened next? Do you know?
