America Shocked Once Again, As FBI Director Comey Clears Huma Abedin Of Wrongdoing

Comey said FBI could not prove that Huma Abedin had any kind of criminal intent in forwarding classified Clinton emails to her husband Anthony Weiner. Weiner did not have a security clearance, and Comey said he most likely did not read them.

At a hearing today, FBI Director James Comey testified that Huma Abedin forwarded a bunch of Hillary Clinton’s emails to Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Lindsey Graham asked Comey if Weiner had a security clearance, as he jokingly said “that would be even worse, wouldn’t it?” He, also, asked Comey if it was against the law for her to send classified information to someone without a security clearance.

Graham was jokingly questioning Comey, but the questions he asked were no joke. Ted Cruz did an excellent job in questioning Comey, and in my opinion Cruz exposed the true joke is that James Comey is actually the Director of the FBI. In fact, the whole Hillary Clinton email investigation and now Huma Abedin’s investigation performed by Comey is no doubt a blatant slap in the face to the American people. It is a bizarre game of cat and mouse in which the mouse scares the cat off. It is abnormal to think that a FBI agent would risk his career in such a way it makes him look ignorant of the law, or that he is being blackmailed.

With the current FBI Director and Asst Director - not only does America not have a functioning FBI, we have an organization that is complicit in the acts that used to be prosecuted to protect us

What is this intent crap? So now if a drunk rams a car though a crowd of children does he get off because there was no intent to commit homocide?

Intent is not an element of the law in question, IIRC.

Comey cited 50 years of prosecutions for transmission of classified documents. In those 50 years no one had been prosecuted that didn’t have intent. That is so thin as to be transparent. The issue of intent goes to the method of transmission. George Webb identified the method of transmission.

Blackberries are able to be synced with one another. That is why these criminals in government insist on using this outdated tech. They can place classified material on their blackberry and come in close enough proximity to another device synced to theirs and the data is transferred automatically.

This is how 650,000 emails ended up on Weiner’s computer. If asked about intent all these parties need to do is claim ignorance. It’s a scam and Comey and McCabe are in on it. Just because no one in 50 years of history has been prosecuted without provable intent doesn’t mean no one should ever be indicted without provable intent.

That’s where Ted Cruz was going, he’s not done with Comey yet. Count on it. We are living in a new age of technology. These technologies did not exist during most of the histories Comey cited. The intent exists anyway, it’s just harder to prove. The law doesn’t address intent, it addresses negligence.

Criminal intent?

Ignorantia juris non excusat or ignorantia legis neminem excusat is a legal principle holding that a person who is unaware of a law may not escape liability for violating that law merely because one was unaware of its content.

Of course she had criminal intent. It was a crime to send the files to him. She didn’t accidentally send them, she sent them on purpose. She INTENDED to send them, so she intended to perform a criminal act.

Are they holding his children hostage?

Since when does “criminal intent” need to be established before you can convict someone for distributing classified materials illegally.

People HAVE BEEN convicted just for being negligent in letting them get out.

The first crime was giving somebody with Abedin's background a security clearance.

Predictably, it went downhill from there.

I believe the US Attorney General gets the last say on who gets prosecuted.

If he’s still among the living, I’d be interested in hearing an opinion on Comey by one of my favorite former FBI agents, George Gordon Liddy.

“INTENT”. The new SCAM standard.

It’s like the Berkeley Standard. No conservatives will clear the bar.

“INTENT” will now clear Leftists every time.

“INTENT” will now convict Conservatives every time.

President Trump should send Atty General Sessions to sit beside James Comey at the next hearing and direct Comey to answer any questions that Sessions deems appropriate. This thing of Comey hiding behind ‘classified’ material excuse is nonsense. The Attorney General can remove the impediment and force direct truthful answers. (HAT TIP sonofterrence)

That's a really good idea...

Comey is working for the cabal. That’s the only reason he would come up with this crap. Huma knows where every bone is buried. If we know that you can be dam sure Comely knows it as well. He needs to go. Pres.Trump needs to get rid of him.
