Rush: Why does anyone vote Republican, if the spending bill 'is what happens when we win?'
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/02/17 | Robert Laurie

Good question...The spending bill is a disaster, and the blame game isn't going to cut it anymore

Yesterday morning, I discussed the atrocious spending bill that’s currently wriggling its way through Congress like a heartworm through a mangy dog. It appears that the GOP has, once again, caved to every imaginable Democrat demand because they’re simply too cowardly to fight for their alleged agenda. After winning the House, Senate, and Presidency, they put forth a plan that gives their opponents everything they wanted - and today, the Democrats are taking a victory tour of the news channels where they grin like Cheshire cats.

Chuck Schumer loves the plan, and that’s all you really need to know.

“RINO doesn’t see Rush as a Republican.”

RINO , DINO , Schmyno.....
Those 535 PRINCES of the UNIVERSE,and their 1000s of predecessors who still have their ‘hooks into the taxpayers pocket’ really don’t give a big bears a$$ bout nuttin but their PENSIONS (and side benefits for the rest of their thieving lives)!!

(EXCLUDE those millionaires who bought their offices here)

If the DONALD does nuttin else cept TERM LIMITS and cutting off lifetime bennys, he’ll go down as one of the best we ever had !!

I agree with Cain. There is congressional republican blame. But the buck stops with Trump. Or should.

I love Trump but I don’t see why he’s saying shut it down in September. What will be any different in September?

Nothing. So why not shut it down now and fight for what’s right?

You can remember them all you want but only the people in their particular states can do anything about it.

People have been angry about all this for years, yet...

Incumbent reelection rate is 96%.

Rev 18:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

Lots of Republican voters do not want their particular government checks to stop.

#5: "Rino Ryan is a corporatist. He is only conservative when it means lowering the taxes of his business buddies."

So true. I can not bear to listen to him anymore. He is without a doubt one of the slipperiest weasels alive. When asked a simple straightforward question, Ryan deflects, and spins into a canned serving of meaningless doublespeak about the legislative "process" and how great everything is and yada yada yada.

What are the demographics of the people in his district? What went wrong with the attempt to primary Ryan? Maybe it was an open primary? In that race Ryan got 84% and Nehlen got 16%. Shameful on the part of all those in that district.

“Significant increase in military funding was absolutely necessary.”

I think a significant percentage of Republican voters were more concerned with too much government spending and we end up with more not less and so much wasteful spending on Obamacare.

If the roles were reversed, the Democrats would accuse the Republicans of not listening to the American people and causing a shutdown. They never say “That’s all we could do.”

It is always easier to shut the government down 5 months down the road than now. We will see.

-- Someone should tell Rush that we know that he knows this. Stop the 'controversial' posturing for ratings, it's hurting your credibility. --

Not likely. Few people ever figure out the truth on any given subject. The world runs mostly on "trust" and bullshit.

Trump was my last presidential vote, never again. I have since got rid of cable, got a Roku and use NetFlix, never watch the news, couldn’t give a @#$# what happens anymore. I’m moving to the ocean in two year, going to live a good life, and hell with the rest. I’ve tried, it’s broken beyond repair. Simpy done with this shit.

Pence on Rush now. Sounds pathetic. Blathering on and on about $21B for military while letting dims get everything they want. We control all 3 branches of government and can’t pass a sane spending bill. PP and refugee resettlement in there. What a joke!@&$(;:
