Pence is already in fiscal establishment mode by saying this is a great "deal".

Easier to run for office and criticize (And fall for the "promises" candidates spew); harder to actually govern and shrink administrative law/spending.

The worst part is that if Trump vetos, they’ll override it.

So the choice is to go along with it and mantain what in party power he has or veto and keep us happy short term but lose all his leverage with Congress.
