The first books they read should have black authors. They should consume the ideas of black people before they read work by anyone else.

I support the efforts of blacks to do better but perhaps we could add a 7th thing. Stop the white hating and scapegoating. In several of these items there is open hostility to whites. Do you think this is going to help you get a job from a white employer? Many whites can sense your hatred, best not to cultivate it.

4. Buy a belt for use around the waist not the knees.
5. Only punch a teacher when you are taking martial arts training.

These are inconsistent.

The black on black only thing means that your target audience is AT MOST 12% of the population.

Unless you are opening a barbershop or retail in the shrinking black inner city (Latinos are pushing blacks out) your business doesn’t have much of a chance.

The first thing to be confronted is the cursed accusation that studying hard is considered 'acting white' (although 'acting asian' would be more appropriate in today's society - as too many 'whites' think it is cool to adopt 'urban culture').

Peer pressure - when it has an evil bent - can kill. And there is strong peer pressure in the urban black communities against studying hard.
The only solution is turning to Christ (understand that HE is your 'peer pressure'. Although obviously not a 'peer' - we are here to please HIM and to glorify God). And having strong families to enable you to do so (by instruction and support).
But it is easy to type this. I have no magic wand to make it so.

Booker T. Washington nailed the truth about them long ago.

This is a very important fact THAT IS NOT BEING TAUGHT TODAY !

A number of black “leaders” (e.g., Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton) have made their living by promoting black victimhood and white guilt.
Jesse Jackson has been shaking down corporations with the scam for decades.
Booker T. Washington (1865–1915) warned of such people within the black community in his 1911 book My Larger Education.
He described them as “problem profiteers”:

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public.
Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs
– partly because they want sympathy
and partly because it pays.
Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances,
because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

Ha. If they start thinking critically, they will spit on the race hustlers like jackson, sharpton, don lemon, etc.

The only way to salvation for the American Black Race is to stop paying women of all races to have government babies out of wedlock. When women of all races have to be responsible for their own lives, there will be practical behavior from their children. Until that time, the Great Society will continue to ruin the lives of black children.
