Richard Simmons is back!
The beloved health and fitness guru, 68, is speaking directly with fans for the very first time since mysteriously vanishing from the spotlight three years ago.
Simmons, who was hospitalized on Monday for "severe indigestion," took to his personal Facebook page on Wednesday to share a hopeful message with his fans.
"Hello to everyone who has shown concern for me and sent their good wishes. You will never know how much it means to me," the reclusive diet and exercise expert wrote next to a 2014 photo of himself....

My husband met him in an airport once and said he was over the top goofy but friendly and nice.
I’ve never heard anything bad about him.
He always struck me that he actually cared about people in general.
Not a thing against him at all.
Richard Simmons is getting to the age where he probably
just wants his privacy & may not feel like being “on” all
the time. He might just not want to “be” any particular
persona. - My son used to work in a department store in a
large city. Simmons came in & immediately commented on
my son’s manner of dress. Son replied, “I LIKE the way I
dress.” (He has always dressed “normal”.)
I’ve got nothing against Simmons & wish him well.
If he came into a woman’s restroom, he would be welcomed with open arms.
Bruce Jenner...not so much.
