Drill, baby, drill!
It seems like months ago now - wait, it was months ago - that the one-foot-out-the-door Barack Obama was pushing through as many executive orders as he could in an attempt to lock in liberal policies after he left office. One of the worst, which we reported at the time, put severe limits on offshore drilling in the Atlantic and Arctic oceans - and there was some question as to whether President Trump would have the authority to reverse the orders once he took office.
I suppose nothing is ever truly over until left-wing federal judges weigh in, but it appears for the moment that the question has been answered in the affirmative:
Never knew judges were more important than (can over-rule) the executive.
Is there any word or movement on the North Slope drilling?
The libs say President Trump hasn’t accomplished anything. He’s accomplished plenty, but it’s everything libs don’t want!
It will be interesting to see how fast this area gets developed.
This should have been waiting for signature on Day One.
Hey, I live in Texas. This won’t mean too much because oil is about $50 barrel. If or when conflict happens between Iran and SA, which it will soon, oil will go above $100 again and oil jobs will go begging for workers yet again. Getting rid of illegals before then would also be super especially here in south and west Texas. Good paying jobs will be every where. Also, the trickle down jobs with steel pipe makers and fitters. Looking like the 50s and 60s again.
