According to the ethos of black students at Pomona College, one of the nations most competitive (and expensive) small liberal arts colleges, white people cannot legitimately study and write about black criminals. Tony Airaksinen of Campus Reform writes:
Students at Pomona College have published a demand letter urging administrators to rescind their offer to hire Sociology Professor Alice Goffman because shes white.
The Letter to the Pomona College Sociology Department, published last Friday argues that by hiring Goffman, the administration has neglected their commitment to promoting diversity and supporting women of color.
This practice is detrimental to Pomonas goal of supporting students of color.
The collective of Sociology students, alumni, and allies open their letter by expressing their anger and concern regarding Goffmans hire, calling it a failure to address the lack of professors of color on campus....

It is surprising that a racial grievance industry existed so far back. Since Booker T. Washington died in 1915, the hustlers were apparently already busy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I'd have guessed that it started after the 1960s, but obviously not.
How about if only students paying full tuition get to vote
Blow it out your ear; pet.
I wonder how many that sighed the letter actually go to school there....I don’t think there are that many people who are racist there are just a very vocal minority that has everyone running scared.
How about if only students paying full tuition get to vote
= = =
And if they are of voting age?
But I guess that has crept down some since the olden days of 21 yo.
OK, I’m dumb. It’s 18, or less.
One would sure think so but apparently leftist black people do have limits on what they will accept unlike white leftists who seem to have no limits at all.
Look at the case of Rachel Dolezal, the former head of the Spokane, WA chapter of the NAACP who was outed as being born a poor white girl who faked being a light-skinned black woman and fooled a lot of people; even those who should have known better. I get the feeling she is now resented by everyone except for the mentally disturbed white leftists; not celebrated as being brave like Bruce Jenner is. Why the left celebrates a mental disorder is beyond me but then so is leftism.
I wonder what percentage of white leftists are inbred at this point due to the large number of them being so mentally disturbed. Maybe 95%? 99%? I'm still searching for what makes them so incredibly insane (aka leftist).
I don’t normally get in the middle of these kind of squabbles; mainly since I’ve been in enough of them myself and they are never any fun.
nopardons, I think if you go back and re-read what the other person said and how they said it, you will see you are both on the same page and only disagreeing about one smallish thing and even then; it’s a matter of degrees.
Are we becoming like Africa? Of course not in the wider sense, but in the smaller sense in some of these leftist colleges with a majority population of blacks, one could see it that way easily.
Just sayin’...
Just about all of the group has left FR, long ago, but I soldier on.
I sort of appreciate your concern; however, these kinds of posts aren't helpful to anyone and need correcting!
Do you want to know about the RIOTS that have taken place in colleges ( elite ones! ) in RSA? Send me a FRmail.
Do you want to know what the blacks are complaining about, over there? FRmail me.
Do you imagine that it has any resemblance to this crap? IT DOESN'T!
Close the goddamn school!
No, Pomona College is a private liberal arts college located in Claremont, Calif., although it started in nearby Pomona. Cal Poly Pomona is a state school located on the west side of Pomona.
When I was a senior in high school, I applied to Pomona College but couldn't get in, so I got my AB degree at Occidental College, Pomona's arch-rival--our football rivalry began in the nineteenth century. Later, I earned a teaching credential at Cal Poly Pomona.
...and promptly had your fragile, impressionable mind and soul corrupted by some White b!tch sociologist, no doubt.
The claremont colleges are about 5 or so minutes from me.
Here’s a bit of American history guaranteed not to appear in any government-approved history book. The Democrat party has, throughout its existence, represented the bigotry and racism they seek to project onto Republicans.
The informed readers of this article are likely familiar with the racist roots of the political party aptly portrayed by a jackass, but much of the general population, especially outspoken Democrats, are woefully ignorant of any such facts.
Ask the nearest Democrat about Republicans and race and even the mayor of a substantial American city might just respond with, “They are racist.”
In reference to their own party, Dems will likely say they led the fight for civil rights throughout the years, though a cursory review of the party will prove this assertion wrong. For instance, this was the party that established the Ku Klux Klan as its enforcement arm. Powerful Democrat politicians have appointed klansmen to high-ranking positions in American government for a century, yet have somehow convinced the vast majority of blacks that Republicans are the bad guys!
The KKK was used to intimidate voters, black and white, into voting Democrat – or not voting at all.
Through violence, property damage, rape, and murder, Democrats were able to secure a huge majority of the black vote comprised of those afraid to cast an alternate ballot. Disgustingly, they have somehow been able to maintain that death-grip on the African-American community to this day.
When these reprehensible strategies, though unquestionably effective, did not satiate their need to keep the black population down, Democrat-supported legislation such as Jim Crow laws made sure these minorities would remain second-class citizens even after the ratification of the 13th Amendment. There are plenty of examples of heralded Democrats, including Presidents LBJ and Truman, expressing disdain for blacks in their own words.
Republicans, thankfully, emerged as the pro-freedom, anti-slavery alternative to the juggernaut that was the Democrat party. Despite the fact that significantly more Republicans supported the 1964 Civil Rights Act than did Democrats, the party of the left has somehow hoodwinked much of the black community into thinking they are its savior.
Of course, today’s Democrats will say, if they concede these points at all, that this is all ancient history, but I respectfully disagree. In much the same way that it did in the late 1800s, the Democrat party needs the black vote and, increasingly, the Hispanic vote to pull heavily for their side in order to win elections.
While paying them mere lip service, liberals pass legislation such as a broken welfare system rewarding poor mothers for having out-of-wedlock children and punishing them for getting married, thus keeping minorities at the mercy of government handouts. This makes them beholden to a party that represents views, such as support for abortion and gay marriage, that are diametrically opposed to those of many in the black community.
Democrats know they cannot intellectually compete with a party that, at its core, simply wants to provide individual liberty, encourage strong families and reduce abortions (which equal approximately the death toll of the 9/11 attack every two days in the black community alone), so they continue to repeat the old diatribe that Republicans are the real racists.
The GOP, which was the first to name a black Supreme Court Justice and Secretary of State, must defend itself against accusations based purely in the imagination of Democrats, often with figurative or literal blood on their own hands.
Each February, Democrats promote Black History Month with a vengeance, hoping to stoke the race war embers and elicit even more loyalty from the black community. I would promote a the study of accurate black history, not just during the shortest month but year round, and it’s relationship with a Democrat party that has been patronizing at its best and deadly at its worst.
Unfortunately, I feel that would be the only chance Republicans have of attracting a voting bloc that has continually been misled into hating the wrong political party.
I love this stuff. The extremists have succeeded so tremendously in their efforts to radicalize the young, that these same “youts” are (predictably) turning on the organizing extremists. Who better to be the target of anger than the unproductive educator class. Why not insist they step aside and dance to their own movement?
In sounds like you keep up with what is going on in RSA and that’s great.
I even appreciate you wanting to keep the record straight. I just don’t see how being rude to people is helpful in setting the record straight or to your cause which appears to be teaching people about what is happening in RSA.
I’m not saying this to be rude or impolite but frankly you sound like you have a big ‘ole chip on your shoulder or you’re drunk; possibly both. Neither may be true but that’s how it’s coming across just so you know.
If I may, it sounds like getting the word out about what is really going on in RSA is important to you, so have you considered starting a thread about it using a few succinct paragraphs to start with that would entice the reader to want to know more. It would almost be like an informal teaching session about the subject for those interested. You might tie it in with something happening in the USA so people have something to relate to that they know or are vested in. Just a thought....
What’s with the selective editing?
He did NOT say what you posted.
.
Every liberal arts college is populated by Public School kids.
No homeschoolers, no Catholic parochial schoolers, no private schoolers no charter schoolers are in the streets, in our face or otherwise causing trouble and being black or wymin or whatever.
94% of all high school graduates in America graduated from a public school ....
or rather
a government indoctrination center.
So when a college student or student body makes demands .... they received the indoctrination to DO that in the public school system they came from.
HERE'S one for youv ..... how many common core math grads are into computer coding or programming ... ?
I'll wait.
