Amazon employees are up in arms and stepping up the pressure on the higher brass to remove Amazon advertisements from the Breitbart News site. The overwhelming consensus from frustrated employees is the alt-right news site promotes discrimination, and it makes them feel unsafe.
According to internal emails in February retrieved by BuzzFeed News, dozens of Amazon employees are voicing deep concerns through internal emails that Amazon advertise on Breitbart, despite being an outspoken critic of President Trumps immigration policies. They are urging the company to cut ties with the news site.

I wonder how much less safe they will feel when they lose their jobs.
If Amazon goes the Hollywood route, and starts pissing off half their customer base in order to placate the PC rabble, it is going to hit them hard on the bottom line.
I’m OK with the liberals ‘boycotting”
We will just give business to their competitors.
They never have any business common sense (or any other kind, it seems)
At least half of humanity makes me feel unsafe, but you don’t see me speaking out for genocide.
Nowadays, when Richard Fowler shows up on FOX, I plan to do something else.
I don’t really need to hear the thoughts of stupid people whom I do not agree with.
High Tech started to go wacko back in the ‘90s.
I got a corporate email back in ‘98 which told us they were going to be sensitive to Gay Needs.
My response was “You never helped me with my dating life, why are you helping Gays with their dating life”
Today this would have gotten me an immediate termination.
I’m sure they do, not really my point.
I don’t expect Amazon will miss them or even lose them.
I buy from Amazon all the time despite their liberal tilt.
Price is the bottom line followed by availability of what I want or need.
> Breitbart ... anti-Trump
probably not the reason for the Amazon peeps protest!
I don’t know, I only watch the evening line up on Fox.
I do not need to know Shepherd Smith thinks, or what Julie Banderas tries to think. I don’t need to listen to Megan McCain’s annoying voice. Dana Perino comes on, TV go off.
I’m pretty sure no one watches Martha McCallum.
> Amazon
When they started charging sales tax in MO (often at higher than statutory rate!) I started making a conscious effort to buy stuff other places.
And I have been saving money.

“Amazon would do well to let them go”
Well, I don’t know about you, but I am in the process of “letting Amazon go!” There are plenty of non-Amazon ways to shop on-line and it’s long past time we quit giving them a dime what with Bezos turning the WAPO in to his own private abuse the president rag.
> Julie Banderas
I would keep her in a different category from the others!
> plenty of non-Amazon ways to shop on-line
yup and it’s often easy to find free shipping AND a lower price than Amazon
Amazon employees are up in arms and stepping up the pressure on the higher brass to remove Amazon advertisements from the Breitbart News site. The overwhelming consensus from frustrated employees is the alt-right news site promotes discrimination, and it makes them feel unsafe.
Awww. Poor babies. Get out of my country, then, and go find some liberal paradise you can be happy in.
I never had to deal with (or rather put up with) this PC crap during my career.
And, of course, now in retirement I don't "tolerate" any of it.
I suspect I would not fare well in today's corporate environment. :-)
No doubt, but it is the reason for my protest.
I keep Julie filed under two categories. “Blithering Idiot” and “Must Miss Television”.
“I love Amazon”
You know it’s owned by the richest and one of the most outspoken leftists in the world, right? I may use Amazon to find items and after I do I contact their source and buy direct.
