It turns out both Donald Trump and Judge Napolitano were correct, GCHQ – as well as others – were spying on the Trump team, as outlined in The Guardian. But before discussing that let’s reflect for a moment on the fact that despite having to run against the Democrats, half the Republicans and the Media, Trump also had to run against the FBI, NSA, GCHQ, Germany, Estonia, Poland, Australia, and possibly the Dutch and the French spy agencies. He was certainly right about being “wiretapped” - not only was he being spied on, he was being spied on BIGLY!

So just about every Western intelligence service was collaborating with the Obama administration in trying to elect Hillary Clinton. Yet, amazingly enough, they failed.
The blindingly obvious point that the Guardian tries to obscure is that the combined assets of all of these agencies failed to find any evidence of collaboration between the Trump campaign and Russia. We know this, because the Democrats have pulled out all the stops. Both before the election, and especially after the election, they have leaked furiously to try to discredit President Trump. If there were any evidence of collusion between Trump (or even obscure, minor “advisers” like Carter Page) and Russia, there would have been nothing else in the Washington Post or the New York Times for the past five months. But they have nothing.
What was really going on seems clear. Everyone involved in this story thought that Hillary Clinton was sure to win the election. Why? Because they read the Washington Post and the New York Times. Plus Real Clear Politics and 538. The suggestion that the Russian government tried to swing the election to Donald Trump is ridiculous. The Russians thought that Hillary was the certain winner, and if–a big if–they carried out a primitive phishing expedition into Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s email account, and subsequently sent the DNC emails to Wikileaks, it was to cause trouble for Clinton after she became president.
Likewise, British intelligence and the other agencies mentioned by the Guardian thought there was no doubt but that Hillary would win. How could they curry favor with the new administration, expected to be Obama’s third term? By feeding negative information about the opponent who was sure to lose, even though there was no real significance to the intelligence provided.
That’s what happened. The fact that liberals still try to push the “Russia” story, even when it is obvious that they are out of ammo, is pathetic. – Powerline
Ironically this attack came from the President who lectured the world about Russia:
“This is a vision of the world in which might makes right–a world in which one nation’s borders can be redrawn by another, and civilized people are not allowed to recover the remains of their loved ones because of the truth that might be revealed…America stands for something different," said Obama. "We believe that right makes might–that bigger nations should not be able to bully smaller ones; that people should be able to choose their own future." – Washington Free Beacon
Fortunately we once again have a President who knows that right does make right, not the other way around no matter how much you like the sound of your own rhetoric.
And by the way Mr. Obama, I don’t think a leader should let his country’s borders be redrawn by ignoring existing Federal Laws restricting immigration either. As you said, “The people should be able to choose their own future,” which they did last November, no thanks to you and your “might makes right” brigade of spies. The outcome of that election – against all odds – is proof enough that there is a God.

The head of Britain’s electronic surveillance agency GCHQ* has resigned!

Robert Hannigan, who has held the post of GCHQ director since 2014, said he was stepping down for family reasons.
He said he was proud of his work but that 20 years in public service roles had “demanded a great deal of my ever patient and understanding family”.
Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said Mr Hannigan had “led the renewal” of national security capabilities to fight terrorism during his time at GCHQ.
Mr Hannigan was director general of defence and intelligence at the Foreign Office before taking over the leadership of GCHQ in 2014.
In a letter to the foreign secretary, he said he was proud of the work he had done and “how many lives have been saved in this country and overseas by the work of GCHQ” but added “now is the right time for a change in direction”.
Mr Hannigan said it was “right” that a new director be in place ready for GCHQ’s 100th anniversary in 2019, but he would stay in the post until a replacement was appointed.
‘Cyber defences’
Sources have told BBC security correspondent Gordon Corera that the resignation was not the result of any concerns over policy in the UK or in the US.
Mr Johnson thanked him for his service, saying he had “set the groundwork for a major transformation of our cyber defences” during his tenure.
There will now be an internal competition within government to identify candidates for the job. Recommendations will then be sent to Mr Johnson and Prime Minister Theresa May for a final decision.
Mr Hannigan was born in Gloucestershire and is a married father-of-two.
He was previously responsible for the UK’s first cyber security strategy, oversaw the first national security strategy, and chaired Cobra emergency committee meetings on terrorist incidents.
He also worked as principal adviser to then Prime Minister Tony Blair on the Northern Ireland peace process.

MUSCULAR is one of at least four other similar programs that rely on a trusted 2nd party, programs which together are known as WINDSTOP.
In a 30-day period from December 2012 to January 2013, MUSCULAR was responsible for collecting 181 million records. It was however dwarfed by another WINDSTOP program known (insofar) only by its code DS-300 and codename INCENSER, which collected over 14 billion records in the same period.[4]
Operational details:
According to the leaked document the NSA’s acquisitions directorate sends millions of records every day from internal Yahoo! and Google networks to data warehouses at the agency’s headquarters at Fort Meade, Maryland.
The programme operates via an access point known as DS-200B, which is outside the United States, and it relies on an unnamed telecommunications operator to provide secret access for the NSA and the GCHQ.[3]
According to the Washington Post, the MUSCULAR program collects more than twice as many data points (“selectors” in NSA jargon) compared to the better known PRISM.[2]
Unlike PRISM, the MUSCULAR program requires no (FISA or other type of) warrants.
Because of the huge amount of data involved, MUSCULAR has presented a special challenge to NSA’s Special Source Operations. For example, when Yahoo! decided to migrate a large amount of mailboxes between its data centers, the NSA’s PINWALE database (their primary analytical database for the Internet) was quickly overwhelmed with the data coming from MUSCULAR.[5]
Closely related programmes are called INCENSER and TURMOIL. TURMOIL, belonging to the NSA, is a system for processing the data collected from MUSCULAR.[1]
According to a post-it style note from the presentation, the exploitation relied on the fact that (at the time at least) data was transmitted unencrypted inside Google’s private cloud, with “Google Front End Servers” stripping and respectively adding back SSL from/to external connections.
According to the Washington Post: “Two engineers with close ties to Google exploded in profanity when they saw the drawing.” After the information about MUSCULAR was published by the press, Google announced that it was working on deploying encrypted communication between its datacenters.[2]

Obama-ites assumed Hillary would be elected, and that the paper-trail of their domestic spying would remain deeply buried, out of reach of anyone trying to find the truth.
But oops, the election didn't go according to plan ... in an absolute panic, Rice, Jarrett, Rhodes et al were forced to come up with a plan to reverse-justify their snooping on American citizens. They knew their spying was likely to be discovered by the incoming Trump admin.
And indeed Rice's paper trail WAS found, but only after the fraudulent Russia story had already been hyped to high heaven by a cooperative MSM.
So the Obama-ites' panicky plan has been to try to (1) establish a pretext for the spying and (2) drown out the real story. I don't think either (1) or (2) can last.
They expected Hillary to win, Susan Rice expected to be Secretary of State, and they expected to destroy Trump and all of his allies with the “in league with Russia” meme. It was going to be “Homeland” for real.
