You’ve been snookered folks! By that poor elderly doctor who was involuntarily dragged from his seat, had his face smashed in, and was beaten unconscious by the evil airport security at the behest of United Airlines.
Because there’s no evidence any of that was true. It was in fact a premeditated temper tantrum gone viral, comprising one 69-year-old Vietnamese-American David Dao, a medical doctor who lost his license, planning a lawsuit from the moment United first politely asked him to give up his seat. He demanded to be dragged, did an excellent impersonation of Ned Beatty’s character in that horrific scene in Deliverance, and struck his lip on an armrest. From the many videos taken by numerous passengers, obviously from numerous angles, there’s no evidence of a beating, a “serious” concussion, or bodily damage beyond that lip.
You’re right its a premier law journal. Why, I’ll bet they published that eminent constitutional scholar Barak Obama. Personally, I take the advice of Women’s Wear Daily for what oil to put in my car.

UAL has indeed made numerous conflicting public statements. All on the record. All admissible in court. All digging the hole deeper. The chaos in their public handling of this just underscores how this mess could happen in the first place.

I’m entitled to a lot of things. Getting cash under the CoC is a practical impossibility. Just like, apparently, keeping your seat under the CoC after you’ve non-disruptively boarded.

By conflicting you mean they have backed off their initial comments that basically blamed the passenger. In fact they have softened to such a degree that they are saying they messed up.
Because the LEFT and some emotional conservatives have relentlessly attacked the business. And a practice that is legal and been going on for years. Period.

The first quote isn’t mine. It’s a factual statement that United said the plane had been boarded. You responded that they had backtracked.
