Good on him, the stupid city government is all graft, no action.
I bought a bunch of Under Armour gym gear last month, really enjoying it.
Just wait till the howls of ethnic cleansing start.
Baltimore is plagued with crime. And the city and the state are totally dominated by corrupt Democrats. This is not a formula for urban success.
Unfortunately, he’s made some conservative comments before so that guarantees that whatever he’s building will attract the usual lunatic left protestors.
“...and public funding...”
That will give the politicians entree to rob it blind.
Agree. Government there is corrupt and useless against crime, perhaps a private executive with $$$ can start turning things around. Isn’t that what Trump’s doing in the D.C. Swamp?
Note to self - dump all Under Amour stock.
Anyone this stupid - to be investing in Baltimore - cannot be trusted.
Dittoes.
I kept reading the article. I kept seeing “public funding” mentioned.
This is more graft and corruption designed to screw the taxpayers in a billion dollar real estate boondoggle. Just check with Atlantic City, Detroit and other liberal hell-hole cities to see what the predictable results will be
Baltimoreans?? Really? I always thought it was Baltimorons. :=)
Keep reading the article.
Notice how many times you see the phrase “public funding” mentioned.
This is doomed to fail from the get go.
I love this. FTA.....
There were several failed attempts to develop here; even a Sams Club and Walmart couldnt make it work. Thats a pretty bad sign if Walmart cant make it work.

LOLOL. But see - they need to throw taxpayer money at the problem. “Public Funding” will solve the problem, right?
Now wait. Good advertising can save them. Like: "OUR ROOMS ARE NIGGARDLY CHEAP!"
That’s not a black area. It sounds like Fells Point.
Why? Because shooting cops and burning sht is a new outdoor activity?
City within a city.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Good luck.
Sounds like a major version of the trend of pre-fab fake towns.
Might be nice on the surface but won’t cut the mustard.
This is an old pier area fallen into disrepair. Good for him trying to help, but the last sentence says what is wrong with Baltimore and why this is doomed. Live in Westminster, MD 40 miles west of Baltimore for 50 years.
“...founder of Under Armour...” How about that? I learned something cool just now. I shall take notes and look for the products. One suggestion: improve the “two U’s” logo to something cool, like maybe a swish.
Risky business.
