Why? Because of "administrative irregularities."
This doesnt sound like a regime thats long for this world. First it tried to essentially abolish the legislature via the courts, only to be forced to back off that idea because the public appeared ready to storm the palace gates over it. Now - never having learned his lesson on anything before, so why start now? - Nicolas Maduro employs a capricious excuse to ban one of the oppositions top leaders from holding office in the country for 15 years.
Maduro is going to look just great when he’s eventually hung from a streetlight.
Sounds like a great place to retire!
As I have posted before.
Chavez was evil.
‘Manure-o’ is just stupid.
Truly is sad, innocent people in deep despair. In the nation with the worlds largest reserve of crude oil. This should be a good topic to discuss in a class of Economics.
Venezuelan news always has a real “ghost of Christmas future” feel to me these days.
What’s up, posting bot? I see you’re still milking Free Republic for hits.
Its a real shame the management still lets you do that. If you had any honor, you’d share some of that revenue with JimRob.
Honestly, let's help each other. Jim wouldn't have a “Bloggers” area it it wasn't to be used.
Venezuelans better throw this Bus Driver under the Bus soon
Sean_Anthony is a shameless blog pimp and click farmer. Perhaps the worst I've ever seen operating here.
He posts an average of six articles a day from a single source, yet has only commented a total of five times in the last two years - three of those to correct a bad link. I know this because I checked his posting history.
The guy is herding eyeballs to Canada Free Press for financial reasons. If you think he's sharing any of that revenue with JimRob, you must think pretty lowly of the boss.
15 years is a long time for a dictator to make plans. His reign is so tentative he would do well to look ahead just 15 minutes at a time.
Sadly enough the same people rioting voted for Maduro. Everything going great until the oil prices tanked and no more free stuff. Venezuela has been selling gasoline and diesel for a fraction of the production costs for years. As Maggie thatcher once stated socialism is great until you run out of other people’s money.
