The insanity of this is striking. First the gopher is a pest, then it's endangered. Ridiculous!

No way in hell are pocket gophers are endangered. They will make more. I have killed a few hundred of the underground rats and there was ALWAYS more.

...and the detachment from reality of the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

It would blow you away to drive by a US Fish and Wildlife Service compound and see the high-dollar toys they have lying around for our government employee-Masters.

I know pretty much what that stuff costs, and it's all nearly brand-new, and all of it maintained by dollars peeled off us peasants at gunpoint.
