2 things: It is a fad (unhealthful at that for reasons Im not elaborating) and for many eating healthy in this culture is not only difficult, but complicated by the fact that medicine continually- fails to address the gut.
Worse, good health for many does not necessarily equate “healthy -eating.” I was eating clean and saw a severe health decline not described in medical literature and I reversed a condition for which there is neither a medical name nor help in framing a treatment.
I’ve been there. A fairly large segment of the sickly population wants to do better but their gut tells their brain otherwise. It’s more than just a choice or willpower for many and the desperation of those on this roller coaster is what leads to these well-marketed fads.
Dont dismiss the difficulty others have once they’ve descended into that state, as there is no comprehending it unless you’ve been there. I have and I’m writing a book about how to do it.
Love the post, but a bit early to “juice”...
I may understand gut problems better than you think.
The act of chewing is actually good for you for a number of reasons. That is just one reason why over reliance on juicing is not a healthy habit.
