We'll see. Looking at personal legal jeopardy, she can claim she was just being braggadocios and shooting off her mouth - that is, she was lying, making up fiction for the thrill of it all. There was (probably still is) wholesale felony leaking going on, making criminal prosecutions difficult.
My point about losing the issue in a sea of garbage was meant to apply to the press handling of it. NYT, WaPo, CNN, and the rest will move on to "attacks on her defense" rather than examine the meaning and significance of what she said in the first place.

I would go back and check her whole interview to see if there is any chance she couched it in speculation, BUT her remarks were extensive.
And second, anyone who watches MSNBC or CNN for even 5 minutes knows that it is total left wing democrat lying and rationalization every minute, so of course she just BS’d her way through getting caught and they ate it up.
