Out here on Long Island New York a lot of them look black, nothing even remotely “Native American” looking. I’m trying to work that one out, how that happened. Here’s two that were killed in a car crash 5 years ago pretty close to where I live. Duane “D.L.” White and Jason “Tek” King. Hmmm, pretty odd Indian names to me.

Pretty safe to say that they aren’t “Pure Native American”.
In my time I’ve met blacks who claim all races - even Asian. LOL!

If from north eastern Maine or the abutting provinces of Canada, they might be Mic-Macs.

They are very dark.

Easily mistaken for of African descent, which some of them may partially be, from escaped slaves interbreeding.
