Back in 2003 I sat on a grand jury in Juneau, Alaska for 3 months and probably one third of the cases were for child molestation, none of which made any local news.
For children under a certain age, video testimony was used and it was truly sickening. I'll never forget what one 6 year old girl said: "when me and my uncle are loving".
This type of crime deserves the death penalty.

Someone pointed out that life sentences are cruel, and they are not fair to the taxpayers, who have to foot the bill for decades, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars. The death penalty is humane to everyone involved.
