The president is no longer safe on the White House grounds, according to former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, who once guarded presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Bongino made the stunning assessment in an interview Friday with Fox News. It followed an incident last Friday night when a man jumped the White House fence and may have roamed the property for as long as 15 minutes before he was stopped by the Secret Service.
Jonathan Tran, who carried two cans of mace, set off multiple alarms, Bongino said, and was even spotted by Secret Service officers, but was still able to come within “close proximity” of the White House and even reportedly “jiggled the door” to the executive mansion.
“The intruder set off multiple alarms, alarms that clearly showed someone breached the property, and he was seen by officers who didn't think anything of it. This is a big story,” Bongino told Fox News....

Actually you may have a point. . .I was thinking about the SS and the lax security.
If I was President Trump I would continue packing. The Secret Service is obviously not as diligent as one would expect. There needs to be a thorough house cleaning there and any agents not dedicated to their core mission should be discharged or reassigned.
Can Dan go back to the secret service and help out

The SS has had to protect a lot of truly slimy humans over the last while. Some SS have gotten involved in some shenanigans abroad not so long ago.
I’m wondering if some of those SS involved in guarding the slimier of the slime didn’t end up getting involved in some ‘pizza’ related slime themselves.
Might be some on the SS staff are rather desperate to prevent any investigations.
I like Bongino, but he’s a bit of a sensationalist. He does need to sell his books (and he’s a terrible writer), so I understand his saying stuff like this.

Trump had his own security detail which he trusts with his life. the new SS allows idiots over the WH fence and loses laptops in cars for crying out loud. He was hesitant to make the SS his security team, now I think it’s time to go back to his original security guys.
I am concerned that anyone was seen on the lawn of the White House considering the evil & troubling times we now live in. Everyone, keep praying for the protection of our President and his administration. An investigation must be made to find out if anyone was slacking on the job or intentionally did not do his or her duty to protect our President.

I have no problem with the President running the country from Mar-a-Lago. Having Congress and the President having to travel to Washington DC is so 1790. Congresspeople can do their business from their home districts and we would save a fortune on travel. Of course, they would then have to associate with their constituents, instead of running away to Washington to escape them.
It’s 2017. Time for DC to become a museum city.
