I have no problem with the President running the country from Mar-a-Lago. Having Congress and the President having to travel to Washington DC is so 1790. Congresspeople can do their business from their home districts and we would save a fortune on travel. Of course, they would then have to associate with their constituents, instead of running away to Washington to escape them.

He makes frequent trips there but these are working trips with aids and cabinet members. I think he goes there because he is certain of the privacy of his conversations as opposed to the White House.
I absolutely agree. No reason for the senators and congressmen to live in DC. Let them live in the places they supposedly represent. And, let the president and VP determine their own residences. Same with cabinet members. The libs would hate that. Well, the pubbies too. They are all used to their East Coast Hollywood.

Trump should keep a “double” in the White House at all times.
That way any Secret Service “mistakes” won’t have the same consequences—while the administration methodically cleans house in that agency.
