President Donald Trump ordered work to begin on a reorganization plan for the federal government to reduce its size and cost. “Today there is duplication and redundancy everywhere,” Trump said in an Oval Office signing ceremony on Monday. “Billions and billions of dollars are being wasted.” I bet that is an understatement when it comes to government waste. He had better be careful, or he will ignite another war with the fat cats around him. I hope first on his list is getting rid of the NSA or the CIA one. We certainly don’t need all of those spies breathing down our necks.
The order requires federal agencies to submit a reorganization plan, including proposed cuts. Trump ordered a freeze on federal hiring in January, and on Thursday, he’s scheduled to release a budget plan that would impose deep spending reductions for federal agencies outside the Defense Department.
“This order requires a thorough examination of every executive department and agency to identify money — where money is wasted and how services can be improved and whether or not the programs are truly serving the American people,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters on Monday ahead of the signing ceremony.
Spicer pointed out that this is not the first time a President has tried to restructure a government, but he warned it is a very lengthy process.

Trump is really fightinh an uphill battle against everybody. So far, he is winning.

The plow drivers want the roads clear. They dont want to be stuck in slow traffic jams with traction-less cars.
First responders want to minimize spin out and no braking traction accidents.
Telling EVERYBODY to stay home who can is a GOOD thing. So some people get a paid holiday for it. So what? Much better than anothe 100 costly accidents cops and firemen have to work. Much better than making plow drivers work extended shifts because they were stuck in traffic all day instead of plowing streets and highways clear of cars that dont NEED to be there.
Chdren and minorities will be hardest hit if the department of children and minorities redundancy department of children and minorities department is eliminated.
