After reading the article, I’m wondering if Khan actually had a valid passport. Perhaps he’s had one, but it expired, and either didn’t realize it until the last minute, or he’d applied for a renewed passport, but hadn’t received the new one in time for his trip. The man obviously wouldn’t admit this was in fact the case, and would prefer to blame President Trump, and the U.S. for his failures.
