The illegals will continue to come and the politicians will continue to wring their hands but there is no quick fix
Recently there has been an influx of illegal immigrants walking into Canada from the United States. According to the RCMP more than 400 people have crossed the border illegally since Jan. 1; a substantial increase over the same time period last year.
Despite what the practitioners of the religion of global warming say, it gets a tad chilly in the Great White (obviously racist) North. Two illegals suffered severe frostbite after walking for seven hours to reach the border. The onset of spring and summer are only going to increase these numbers.
I recommend minefields and barbed wire, myself.
Build a wall.
Canada should build a border wall, saving us the cost of doing it.
400 people since January 1? Obama used to bring in that many illegals every five minutes.
400 in two months?
When they have 400 an hour they will begin to understand what the US has been putting up with.
Empathy for the local harassed authorities from this corner. They did not ask for this at Emerson, Manitoba, population 700. Just across from the North Dakota border. I was hitch hiking from Pembina North Dakota in 1956. I had come from Toronto and was heading for Winnipeg, Manitoba. Spent a half hour being questioned by the Pembina border patrol. Had to prove I was not an illegal traveller looking to work in the USA.
Great - I am sure that I can now add 400 more dependents on my income tax return this year.
Put a good old fashioned bounty on their heads.
A Bounty ,many Canadians still have Guns and would love a few extra bucks
First you have to WANT to stop the crossings, but to do that, you need an ADULT leading your government.
Even if they tried, isn't Dudley DoRight occupied up in the Yukon or somewhere? They'd have to recruit and train another Mountie.
