Well...that's embarrassing.... Oh, THAT, Ambassador!
Dan already did a fine job of explaining why the whole “Sessions/Russia” flap is a big nothingburger, so I won’t rehash that here. What I will do is point out that the left seems to think this is chum in the political water. They’ve whipped themselves up in to a frenzy, fueled by anti-Trump hysteria and the hope that maybe - just maybe - they can finally get one of their conspiracy theories to stick.

I think you may have overlooked the nuance in her statement. She never had a SINGLE meeting...was she married at the time?

The Democrats are attempting, once again, “election nullification”. It took more than four years, and a contrived frame for an insignificant criminal activity, but Nixon was finally forced from office.
Similar tactics were applied to George W. Bush-43, and he was almost complicit, but the reverberations from the 9/11 shock to the nation blunted a lot of that effort.
Both were excellent applications of the Saul Alinsky rule: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.”
It worked with Scooter Libby, on a totally fictitious charge, and he was not even the one who was knowingly lying to the FBI.
She must have been the go between to get the Russian Ambassador to go events and call people on Trump team! This was way too orchestrated by Democrats and the Obama Admin changing the rules on classified information days before his departure!
