[VANITY] Whoa on Trump's Immigration Plan, Here's Why Amnesty Ain't Gonna Happen
EEE | 01 MARCH 2017 | EEE

The fake news media is already churning out article after article at demoralizing Trump supporters over immigration, and like flies to feces, conservatives and FReepers who should know better are flocking to it and already posting the Obama "Miss Me Yet" pics.

IGNORE IT. Right now, nothing is proposed, nothing is set in stone, this is the usual fake news leftist media pathetically trying to divide-and-conquer the base and making it appear that Trump is caving so they can energize their base in 2018.

Here's why Trump is NOT caving to Amnesty:

- Border apprehensions: They are already way up. Trump is stopping the illegals at the point of entry and has shut down centers along the border that catered to illegals.

- The Wall: Ahead of schedule and Mexico is paying for it. Please remember that everything Trump does, has a purpose, an objective to it. Kelly Ann Conway kneeling on the couch? Designed to make the fake news media focus on Trump's meeting with black college and universities.

- Interior enforcement: Trump is already purging the MS-13 scum from the Homeland and deporting thrice-deported illegal invaders - PERMANENTLY.

- Illegal immigration's harmful effects to the black population: Trump is triangulating and squeezing the Democrats into defending criminal illegal aliens over black American citizens who have been screwed by open border policies. Trump's talk about a possible pathway to citizenship? Yes, we can talk about it - AFTER THE BORDER IS SECURED AND INTERIOR ENFORCEMENT KICKS OUT THE EXISTING ILLEGALS. But that's all that is, talk...simply part of the "negotiating" that Trump will do so that Congress can resolve the immigration issue once and for all.

My take is that Trump knows that any immigration package has to go through the Wall Street gate-keepers that pulls the strings of Ryan and McConnell in Congress. So this is all part of Trump's classic negotiating skills - talk about a pathway to citizenship to get the leftist media off his back and to hook wayward Republicans in Congress to get on board so they can lend a ear and get the discussion rolling, and then get down to the brass tacks and go into details.

Trump will explain to Congress that we've already had an amnesty in '86 and the American people overwhelmingly oppose another one.

Trump will continue to enforce existing immigration laws and build the wall. This is psychologically demoralizing to the illegals and to Mexico. Many will self-deport as they get discouraged that it doesn't pay to continue to sneak across the border. Then the Trump administration, as part of the "negotiations" with Congress on a "pathway to citizenship," will ask Congress to clarify the anchor-baby issue and further end all federal benefits to illegals.

So that leaves a handful of the illegals (Now, this is Trump's way of thinking, not mine. I believe in deporting all illegals, period) who truly want to be American citizens and will abide by our laws and fully embrace being Americans. I don't like it, you don't like it. But if this less than 5% of the overall illegal population who want to become Americans, after the border is secured, DACA is repealed, and federal benefits and sanctuary cities are outlawed, and the hardened criminal illegals like MS-13 are deported - my guess is that Trump will have them formally apply to be U.S. citizens and that will be the "compromise" that Trump will inevitably make.

They are citing his call for reform as though it were a call for amnesty: it is not.

Just look at the statement of the principles that need to guide that reform: what's best for America and American workers.

I sure hope the Donald doesn’t go soft. California is dead without deportation. And unlike the softheaded seem to believe, illegal immigration itself is a crime that incurs heavy costs on Americans.

“They are citing his call for reform as though it were a call for amnesty: it is not.”

The term immigration reform, whether Bush or Obama, has always meant amnesty.

But does it mean amnesty when Trump says it?

So far, the answer seems to be no.

Give the man a chance; he’s only had five weeks so far!

At this point, you’d need to deport first, second and third generation legal immigrants to save California. You’re talking deporting 10 million people to bring California back to some normalcy, and there are probably only ~3 million illegal aliens. It’s a lost cause.

So, Trump called you up and explained his negotiating strategy to you?

By the way, there are roughly 1 million deportable immigrants with outstanding criminal warrants.

That leaves at least 10 million who have not been accused or convicted of a “serious crime,” and will become eligible for Trump's vaguely worded “legal status.”

One thing we can agree on - none of those 10 million folks will become voting citizens before Trump's reelection bid in 2020.

Divide and Conquer.

Trump claimed he is a GREAT negotiator. He claimed he could negotiate GREAT deals.

We know who is going to oppose his negotiating style.

Who is going to support his negotiating style?

That pretty much sums up the situation here in post-American California.
