Will pray for the children for sure! We went though this years ago and it's a nightmare! In our case it was all about the money; if we got custody then wacky mom would not get the money she wanted... so my husband offered her a deal. We'll leave the shared visitation order as it but we'll take the kids AND still pay the child support so she could take them out and do fun things when they come visit, etc. And would you believe she agreed? And that within just a few short months she didn't even want the visitations anymore? It was GREAT! I paid biweekly and never missed a payment, not once, all the up through 18th birthdays. It was tough, and I hated it... but paying her to stay away was much better than fighting or sharing with a crazy person! I mention this in case it could work in your situation as well... believe me, we NEVER thought she would say yes but she did, and then slowly disappeared from our lives, as long as the checks were there and on-time!

Thank you so much for your prayers, we so need them. This has been an ongoing nightmare to the point where we and the kids are suffering trauma from psychological and physical abuse. Thank you for the great idea, I would have never thought of it. She is a materialistic person so it might work, we’ll discuss with our attorney in the morning. We’d rather pay her to keep the kids sane and in a healthy stable environment. I don’t know if she’ll accept that though, she’s got the kids pretty enmeshed with herself. She’s told them she’ll die if she doesn’t have them, and she told us no one would have them if they weren’t with her, so well see. Her thinking is very distorted, caught up with power and control. I’ll keep everyone updated.

We told our attorney of your option and she doesn’t want to go that route in case someone says we tried to bribe her. Oh well it was worth a try. Thank you.
