In just two days, President Donald J. Trump will deliver his highly anticipated first Address to a Joint Session of Congress.
There is an incredible spirit of optimism sweeping across the Nation, and in preparation for this address, the President has hosted numerous listening sessions at the White House. During these meetings he has heard from men and women from all over the country about issues that are impacting American families, communities, and workers.
Now is your chance to give your input. We want to know what issues you want President Trump to focus on and your ideas for the future of our country.
I filled out a survey that came in my email. In great detail, LOL.

I really need to get in on this.
The biggest factor that has negatively impacted my family over the last decade, has been the glut of illegals in the building trades.
I’m all for deporting the “bad dudes”, but the illegals with tool belts and ladders have hurt my family the most. I want them all gone, like yesterday.
End DACA.
Enforce the laws on ALL illegal aliens encountered by ANY law enforcement.
Illegal aliens should not be given the opportunity to harm or kill Americans before they are removed.
If I slip the border into Peru, I am arrested and deported. Ditto with Mexico. Ditto with nearly every other country on the planet.
Why are we expected to have standards that no other country has?
I’d hint at on going investigations gathering
info into current leaks....mentioning laws that
are being broken daily....THEN...every response for the next few weeks is...NO COMMENT from the administration

Only deporting the criminals is not enough as you pointed out.
They need to know we will not be satisfied with that.
I did.
I told ‘em that Making America Great Again means restoring our Free Constitutional Republic which means putting the Constitution front and center as the Supreme law of the Land against the feds and dismantling the majority of the government which is unconstitutional
I also told ‘em to have faith in the free market economy which made America the wealthiest country in the world and will gain. I also told em to nuke the unconstitutional minimum wage which is a businesses-killer, economy-killer, and job killer.
With that in mind, I told them to deregulate the medical industry in my long list. I should have kept a copy of my list. lol
I posted one polite and specific request on a single topic.
That is what the Leftists advise doing in their "Indivisible" campaign manual. It seems to work most effectively. (We may as well learn from our opponents).
I have had some minor success with this tactic when contacting my local political officials. I have no idea if anybody even reads these requests at the national level. But they might.
I was very polite and let them know I thought they were doing a fantastic job, and in such a short amount of time too.
Ok, Lurk. I did it. I filled out the survey and in the first comment box I outlined my eight point plan to turn off the magnet that attracts illegals to our country.
In the second comment box I let the President know how the illegals have hurt my business and my family, and begged him to consider implementing the eight points I outlined previously.
I suppose he's opened the floodgates by asking for our input, but if enough of us continue to plead for the same common sense approach to illegal immigration, I think we'll see those steps implemented.

I know I felt better to let them know that it’s not enough to only remove those already convicted of other crimes.
According to a couple of FB comments I saw today, it's because of the words on the Statue of Liberty.
This was in response to a local article about a new Mexican restaurant in town that was denied a liquor license because the new proprietors are all ILLEGALS
I told them the same. Replace Obamacare with the free market and the federal government has no constitutional business meddling in healthcare at all and all they do is muck it up.
If nothing else, let 'em know we're all praying for them!
