I'm originally from Michigan ... 18 years there ... before I left, never to return. I just have a couple of questions about merit pay:

1. What if the teachers have no "job accomplishments"?

2. What if none of the teachers warrant "merit pay" because they didn't do anything to merit it?

Why aren’t the teachers unions suing to get well deserved merit pay for the best teachers?

Typical Union mentality, they don’t want “successful” teachers, they want everyone to sink to the lowest common denominator.
