I'm originally from Michigan ... 18 years there ... before I left, never to return. I just have a couple of questions about merit pay:

1. What if the teachers have no "job accomplishments"?

2. What if none of the teachers warrant "merit pay" because they didn't do anything to merit it?

Another question. Does the law say how much the merit pay should be? Or can it be a miserable pittance each year?
