How ‘bout that! DJT had a television show. Surprise it may be, but he never got this vote due to his show. He earned it due to the fact he has won in every venture he begins. At times a fast win; other times it may take a bit longer in the ups and downs - but in the end he wins. Truthfully, never watched The Apprentice. People might write reviews on the show but far be it from me to agree or disagree with them. Wouldn’t seem fair.
A TV news reporter once told me that no more than 5% of the filming of a televised news event is ever seen on TV. If so, Trump's live rallies and pressers are as honest an expression of "real life" as you'll ever see on TV.
Personally, I watched only a few episodes of the Apprentice, and only during the first season of the show.
Looking back, it's Trump himself that stands out. By watching him, I suppose I hoped some of his success habits and wisdom would rub off on me. Not sure it did, but the attempt to teach and idolize entrepreneurship and business competence is a noble thing -- and the Apprentice broke new ground in that pursuit.
But I remain a disciple of Trump, not because of the Apprentice, but because of his glorious election campaign where I got to learn about his heroism, hard work, compassion, and wisdom. His human faults remind me of my own sins.
