Television probably went a long way to transforming Trump from a successful tycoon to a man with a national presence and conscience.
I love the way the article looks inside Trump and explains how he worked hard to develop the show and it was obvious that behind the “You’re Fired” tagline there was a guy who listened and cared.

Yes, it just cements my high opinion of him. They repeat how he asks how he did a lot, but that is a disarming trait by confident people who have some humility, NOT the trait of an arrogant insecure egotist.
I loved the show to see how he cut through the chaff of all those personalities and their various efforts. He was almost always right except when one could see he kept some crazies pretty long just for ratings (like the actually brain damaged Gary Busey).
