There are, of course, different levels of sexual violation. This was hardly a rape, but I can guarantee you that a whole lot of people think a stranger grabbing your vagina or penis is a sexual violation, especially when there is a big power differential where many would not feel they can say no. You may be fine with airport workers touching and patting even children’s genitalia, but the outcry over this sort of thing is only growing (thank God). I’ve never seen any airport in Europe practicing these sort of invasive and abusive “security” tactics.
No one grabs a penis or a vagina. I’ll give $100 to someone who can find a video to this happening.
