It sure sounds like CBS is getting defensive over Donald Trump’s attack on “fake news.” A new ad for CBS This Morning on Monday featured a blazing graphic declaring the show “REAL NEWS.” Yet, the network has a history of fawning over Barack Obama and hammering Trump. On February 2, CBS This Morning reporter Omar Villafranca lamented the “dream denied” for illegals after the “somber” 2016 election.
Last week, CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley responded to Trump’s attack on the “fake news media” by lecturing that “the common denominator of Mr. Trump’s woes is the Constitution.”

...except that it's the same old crap.
..same azzholes that promoted themselves with
HONESTY.....INTEGRITY..... ACCOUNTABILITY
Perhaps this is applicable in some alternate universe.
But back here on Planet Earth, logical discourse and critical thinking still go a lot further for promoting some semblance of reality than all the “fake news” that gets pumped out there on a minute-by-minute basis.
CBS has been in the bag almost from it’s inception,
RICHARD M. COHAN, Senior Producer of CBS political news said: “We are going to impose OUR AGENDA on the coverage by dealing with the issues and subjects WE choose to deal with.”
RICHARD SALANT, former President of CBS News stated: “Our job is to give people not what they want, but what WE decide they ought to have.”
I used to think Scott Pelley was ok until I saw him report the results of Michael Brown’s autopsy. He breathlessly reported that Brown was shot six times but did not comment on whether he was shot in the front or the back. That should have been the most important part of the whole story.
Sounds like they just can’t “let it go.”
CBS killed its own credibility - which is suicide for REAL journalists. These fakes will keep faking, like the hookers they are.
Every news organization that has ever used “immigrant” as a synonym for “illegal alien” is FAKE NEWS.
I saw that last night and had to laugh.
I wish Trump saw those “quotes”....and the
next time a clown ask him about his war with the media.....
Yeh, they were the first network to get labelled as “fake” news back during the Dan Rather debacle. That’s why we called them “fake but accurate”. It’s the claim they tried to make, though we obviously mean it sarcastically.
I wonder what ever happened to Buckhead...
