When is Trump going to reverse Obamas eleventh hour directive allowing NSA to share raw surveillance data with 16 government intelligence agencies? This is a dangerous order that is fraught with the potential for political subterfuge and other partisan shenanigans.
It all depends.
1995 OKC bombing. Gorelick wall prohibited agencies sharing information.
2001 Twin Towers. Resulted in formation of Homeland Security Department to coordinate terrorism information among agencies.
To share or not to share? Cases can be made for both.

If we didn't have 17 intelligence agencies with overlapping responsibilities these walls would be less of an issue.

It is not possible for a lover of liberty to make a case for NSA sharing raw intelligence with law enforcement agencies.
Everything NSA gathers is outside the Bill of Rights. Everything. For them to just allow access to that database for LEO is a recipe to end the republic founded on the rule of law.

True, but raw intelligence can be misinterpreted and misused. And there’s a very real potential for embedded partisans in federal agencies to request information for the sole purpose of ‘weaponizing’ it. The Trump administration needs to get a handle on this issue now before it suffers irreparable damage at the hands of unscrupulous and dishonest partisans.
