I would force the NSA to sift through any of the IC employees electronic communications for anything that hints at the keywords CNN, NYT, Washington Post, WSJ, et al. Then I’d have their security clearances pulled indefinitely pending long-term review.
I’d deny them their access.
Do you expect IC professionals to be that brazen in leaving a government paper trail of the felonies they are committing against a sitting president?
Then there’s the Tom Clancy trick, write a long, boring report on something that a leaker would want to leak, make a minor change in a key word in each copy of the report going to a different department, and then listen for the key word in the leak. From that you can trace back to the leaker. Tyrion also did something similar in GRRM’s unfinished masterpiece (No, not the f@#$ing HBO series, the books! I hate HBO).
I would have everyone who could have had access to the info take a polygraph.
Yep, that was my comment yesterday.
Pull their tickets.
It’s quicker than firing and immediately denies them access.
I couldn't agree more. Suspend their access until it's clearly determined they're not involved in any way with leaks.
Not just the keywords... the IP providers and the portal links to those and any other media organization’s email and/or twitter, snapchat, instagram. It can be done quickly by the very NSA that obamaumao allowed to widely disseminate raw intercepts to be distributed to every intel agency— everyone. This signed off on by Loretta cankles Lynch.
Schumer already tried to warn off AG Sessions from this effort— thereby telegraphing his greasy fears that their multitude of leakers will be outed, prosecuted and removed permanently. Sessions will not be out of the loop with the FBI counterintel (domestic), the FISA court warrants that were issued and from whom these warrants were requested. The warrants went far further from usual foreign surveillance requests and ventured into US private citizens. And, don’t forget— Trump and Harward now have the info on obama, and a very good case to put him away with hitlery et al. Assymetrically speaking.
