Raggedy Ann, Raggedy Andy. This makes me kind of nostalgic for seeing little girls play like they used to. Seeing what passes for dolls nowadays has caused me to stop perusing the aisles of Toys R Us—dark, sexualized and depressing. Also, the “boyfriends” of girl dolls at my tea parties, being escorts for Kool-aid tea parties, were generally Teddy Bears. Teddy Bears were almost always “he”— sigh. Some things used to be so much better—
