I always thought that if he and Pat Caddell ever got together, Pubbies could have trouble.

Early in the last decade the Dems faced the same issue and decided they needed to make the party image more moderate. So, they recruited a bunch of moderates to run in competitive House seats and took the House in 2006.

Then, after Hussein was elected in 2008, he and San Fran Nan forced these moderates to vote party line in all his far left schemes, including Obamacare with the mandate he lied about during the primaries with Hillary and said he opposed.

They are all gone now.

Sane? Seriously? Give me a break! He is a rabid democrat politician. He only sounds sane when campaigning.

He voted for Obamacare as a Senator from VA before he left office. He had a 10% conservative voting record per Heritage Action - https://www.heritageactionscorecard.com//state/state/va

He only sounds sane because he sounds less effeminate than most ‘rats.

There is an aristocracy now that pervades American politics. It’s got to be broken somehow in both parties . . .

I agree. Name recognition from relatives is a huge advantage in the primaries, and it should not be. While it would be nice to judge the next Kennedy/Clinton/Bush/Trump on their own merits, that is not what actually happens. I'd rather blacklist all those hanging onto the family name, rather that see another Hillary/Jeb/Teddy run for office and win because of their better known relative. As for the Trump name, I'm satisfied with him so far, but that's not enough. I don't want President Eric or even President Ivanka eight years from now. Let's start choosing based on merit.

The Democrat Party is done with Jim Webb. They’ve thrown him out with the trash just like they threw Bob Casey Sr., the Dem pro-Life Pennsylvania governor, out with the trash 25 years ago. They’ve moved beyond working class, culturally conservative whites. I just hope that any culturally conservative working class white who still votes Dem is going to wake up and see it.

Demonicrats are lying, murdering traitors to the United States of America.

If people start to doubt that, the Demonicrats nominate for President the most lying murdering traitor they can find to demonstrate it, and the fifth-column leftist media support that person to further demonstrate that they, along with Demonicrats, are lying murdering traitors.

And if the lying, murdering traitor loses, the Demonicrats riot, burn cars, block streets and threaten Americans with violence and death to show their lying murdering traitorous candidate should have won.

I think liberals know that they and their policies have been rejected by America but they can't change now. They have no choice but to stick with those policies. They can't even entertain the notion of changing because they can't admit that they suck and, the fact is, they want to ram their fu***d up policies down America's throat.

So, they have to fabricate some BS about how Vladimir Putin cost them the election and how it has nothing to do with them all the while conveniently ignoring the fact that they lost the house in 2010, the Senate in 2014 and countless state legislature seats and governorships over the past 8 years.

and now, they will continue to lie, manipulate, cheat, deceive, and protest because it has become all too clear to them that that is the only viable path back to regaining the power to implement the policies that America has resoundingly rejected over the past 8 years.

They do what they do because that's all that they can do.

I liked Jim Webb as SecNav. He was nice enough to sign my copy of his book, A Sense of Honor.

I never understood why he became a Democrat.

Jim Webb is not really sane, he just looks that way when compared to Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Gerald Nadler, etc.
