Cortisone injection
Never had the injection but I agree with the rest of your post.
Getting old sucks.
No wonder the youngins run form our group get togethers like scalded dogs! lol
You’re just a kid.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
I WISH I was 41 again.
Okay, so now you have your old sucks, now what?
I turn 41 tomorrow,”
Good grief - you’re just a mere baby. LOL
41 that’s just a baby
“41 thats just a baby”

Damn right——my 5 “kids” are all older than that.
.
Had one for my knees. Felt great. Didn’t last.
I’ve always found that to be true.
Back in 2013 and early 2014 I had two shots in each knee and one in my back, The first knee shots worked, the second didn’t. My back is better now I have lost weight and exercise daily.
I had to have both knees totally replaced as that was the only answer to my problem (no cartilage left) and now I am great.
Thanks for the warning. Growing pineapples is easy in south Florida. Simply cut off the top of the pineapple you buy at the store with a bit of pineapple body and place it on the soil in the garden. Just put a little soil around it, don’t really “plant” it. About two years later you will have a pineapple plant and a pineapple. Cut the tops off your own home grown and plant them too. Voila. Easy peasy. I love fresh pineapple. As they grow from the center of the plant they will turn from red to green when larger to golden when ripe. Beautiful at all stages.
I’ve had them for sports injuries. Somebody has to say it, they hurt like a mofo. Never had any side effects except saying the “F” word in front of the doctor. The good news is that cortisone does really work. :-)
Yep. Take the shot. No worries unless you’re allergic to it. They can give you a mini shot on your arm or leg to find out if you are.
Sometimes it fixes the problem and more often it comes back after a month or so but you can get 3 shots a year if I remember right.
How about Medical Marijuana? Eases pains, no?
Check the shot out - my wife has a lesser degree of arthritis in her knee and gets shots about once every 9 - 10 months and that keeps her on her feet w/o pain.
I had terrible tendonitis in both elbows when I worked in a steel mill, and had to get cortisone shots all along. The doctor told me that on very rare occasion, people would have a reaction to them, nothing to worry about, only one time in a million she said, did it happen. Well, it happened to me every time I got one!
I still got them though because they really eased my pain, once I got over the reaction.
Denial works too. :)
Man has to know and accept his limitations.
Getting old is not for sissys.
I thought they only could do that PV and south in Mexico.
