Where are the Reince Priebus Hit Pieces? [wolf in sheep's clothing?]
Danger and Play ^ | 2/11/17 | Mike Cernovich

Posted on 02/11/2017 3:07:43 PM PST by markomalley

Reince Priebus is the White House Chief of Staff. No one is closer to President Trump. Mike Cernovich is an author and filmmaker far removed from the Administration. Why has the media written more hit pieces about me than about Reince? The media isn’t barking at Reince. Why?

Fans of Sherlock Holmes will recognize the dog that didn’t bark allusion, which comes from The Adventures of Silver Blaze, a story involving the murder of a horse trainer and the disappearance of race horse.

Police initially suspect a stranger stole the horse, which Holmes considered curious as a guard dog was never heard barking during the horse’s disappearance.

Gregory (Scotland Yard detective): “Is there any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?”
Holmes: “To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.”
Gregory: “The dog did nothing in the night-time.”
Holmes: “That was the curious incident.”

As Holmes explains: “I had grasped the significance of the silence of the dog, for one true inference invariably suggests others…. Obviously the midnight visitor was someone whom the dog knew well.”

There are leaks coming from the White House, and one cannot find any shortage of hit pieces on General Flynn, Steve Bannon, Steven Miller, and Kellyanne Conway.

CNN, WaPo, and the New York Times has gone after me several times, and I have nothing to do with the current Administration.

Where are the fake news media hit pieces on Reince Priebus? Why isn’t the media dog barking?

Perhaps they know him all too well.

Ya know, it's pretty freakin pitiful I have to send them emails urging their support of conservative ideas. Good grief, I'm in Texas for crying out loud.

It would explain why the party is infested with McCains and McConnels!

We will never win with Dhims posing as Pugs. Cerially, with dstains in our slot and Dstains in theirs we are left unrepresented.

We need a RNC leader that will keep the party in line or boot them OUT!

The GOP is, and always will be, infested with fake conservatives who are in reality only interested in protecting the established order. They do not work for the people. They work for themselves.

The GOP is incorrigible; beyond reform. There is a deeply ingrained culture of weakness, fear and appeasement that not even Trump can erase. Its in the party’s DNA.

The GOP is not supporting Trump, but rather dragging its feet on everything he wants to do. It’s not disarry; it is resistance.

We really need a new party that represents conservatives.

No, we don’t. We have come such a long way moving the Republican Party to the right. IT’s why we have Trump. Unless you worked within the GOP for the last 8 years, I suggest you don’t know what you are talking about. A third party will only mean Democratic Rule forever. Just support the most conservative candidate. We are not a monolithic party. We have to work with what we have.

I have strong and trusted relationships with people who have worked inside the Republican Party, in multiple places of employment. I trust their judgement and insights far more than I do yours. There are things you don’t know that you don’t know. As Trump would definitively say: “I can tell you that”.

Three weeks into the Trump presidency and there is nothing but foot dragging by a party that should be four square behind him and enthusiastically working to implement his vision and agenda. Given the horrors of the political alternative, every member of the GOP should be asking what they can do for Trump, not what he can do for them or looking for ways to sidestep their responsibility to voters. Most of them are nothing but a bunch of lying, deceitful and thankless frauds.

It doesn’t take an insider to see what’s going on. They could easily do more, but they don’t. So ask yourself, why? Please open your eyes.

Tell me that again after Arizona re-elects Flake in 2018.

In past years my impression was Priebus was a total rino. Who knows. It’s worth considering on this forum.

I respect your opinion. I'm doing my little bit, locally, under the tutorship of FreedomPoster.

Huh? The irony is that one of the least conservative candidates from the beginning is going to be the most conservative governing President - maybe more than Reagan only because Reagan didn't enjoy GOP control of the House. Trump has become the leader of the party - period. He controls the party apparatus, you just watch how they kiss his ring now as they will all want him to help them raise money.

Is he, right “from the top” the source of many Trump inner circle leaks? Did Trump make a secret pact with the GOP elite, which is how Priebus got there?

What possible secret pact could Trump have made with the elite? Sounds anywhere from unlikely to impossible.

***********

Trump is the titular head of the party, more in name than in reality. At least at this point in time. He is not being embraced by the rank and file to the extent that he should be given the enormity of his accomplishment in getting elected against all odds. The GOP should be worshiping him, but they clearly are not.

They may kiss the ring, but a lot of it is for show. Like all politicians, they want to curry favor and be on the winning side. But I don’t see them standing shoulder to shoulder with Trump yet, despite the avalanche of viscous and unfair criticism being directed at him by the rabid Left and their confederates in the media.

Bear in mind that after eight years of Obama’s disastrous rule, the hapless GOP still doesn’t have any idea what its going to do about Obamacare or tax relief. If they were sincere they would have been prepared to move on these critical issues from day one. But they don’t really want to do that and many are looking to delay, stall and even retain some of the worst policies imaginable.

There is still deep resentment against Trump in the party. Make no mistake about it it. Many in the GOP see him as a renegade who will be gone in four years. With their help.

I just read an article from the GOPTHEDAILYDOSE on my face-book and it was asking is Priebus a mole for Soros? Not sure if it is a fake-news article or not. But it talked about the leaks and especially the recent Yemen leak when we lost a seal.

If there is a leaker in Trump’s inner circle, I hope he smokes them out soon.

We won this election without a bunch of too pure for school conservatives. They missed the point, and the man by a mile, and left us.

Conservatives, alone, will never win anything again, I don’t believe. They split like ribs, agree on no one enough to win.
