Amid growing pressure for stores to drop the first daughter’s brand, it is no longer being sold at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Belk, Jet, and ShopStyle.
Days after Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus announced they would stop selling the Ivanka Trump collection due to lagging sales, the brand is disappearing from a growing list of retailers.
The removal of the first daughter’s brand from multiple retailers follows the widespread #GrabYourWallet campaign to boycott businesses the Trump family profits from.
Shannon Coulter, founder of #GrabYourWallet, reported the brand’s disappearance from ShopStyle on Tuesday after tracking the amount of Ivanka Trump stock across retailers.

ShopStyle, a shopping “search engine” that links out to other retailers, was selling 1,328 and 1,769 Ivanka Trump items (and around 300 on its UK site) since late November. Both no longer showed any Ivanka Trump items for sale as of Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the website told BuzzFeed News that the site doesn’t hold inventory....

They don’t want to risk vandalism in their store, or attacks on shoppers who may be trying something out.
Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus will be substantially hurt with this boycott and with President Trump’s condemnation of Nordstrom, will be devastated.
Nordstrom’s CEO is named Hernandez from Los Angeles and Neiman Marcus is run by a Ms. Katz. Names aren’t important but actually they are quite a bit. I’m surprised both of these companies are still in business. Who wears their Gillian’s Island Thurston Howell crap these days? If I want a monocle, I’ll just break my glasses in half.
When libs throw lemons at you, make lemonade. Sell online from a website, or open your own chain of stores. Or both.
Unfortunately, I do not patronize any of these “businesses”. Otherwise, I would be boycotting them right now.

LOL, and then the intolerant leftist freaks will blame Trump for planning/starting this.
There’s a problem with the “just buy online” suggestion. We buy clothes online regularly, and they just don’t always fit. Women in particular often want to try something on.
A second problem may exist at the upper end of social strata, where people who care about such things actually RECOGNIZE the brand, and refuse to do business with you as a result. It would be like applying for a job with a contractor who does a lot of business with the state wearing a MAGA hat. Even if that is unlikely, the POSSIBILITY will scare off some women who just want to wear nice clothes, and NOT make a political statement. Wearing clothes is not the same as getting a chicken sandwich.
I suspect the clothing line will shrink in value, and I hope Ivanka understand that the same name that helped open doors that can sometimes be used against her, but in this case she should consider it well worth it.

That’s my problem.
I wish I could boycott all those places I’m supposed to boycott, but I don’t shop at any of them now.
All I buy anymore are groceries and flea market junk.
